Bappi Lahari, the famous musician who introduced Bollywood to disco and rock music in the 70s, has passed away. He was 69 years old. He breathed his last at a hospital in Mumbai. According to media reports, Bappi Lahari passed away at around 11 pm. Bappi Lahiri had also been ill for a long time and was undergoing treatment at The Criti Care Hospital.  

Earlier, legendary singer Bharat Ratna 'Swar Kokila' Lata Mangeshkar had passed away. Bappi da loved to live his life in a different way, which was very much liked by his fans. But since his departure, his fans have been deeply shocked. #BappiLahiri and #RIPBappiDa top trend on Twitter. All the fans of Bappi Da, who is present in the country and the world, are constantly engaged in paying tribute to him in their own style through social media.

Not only this, a fan named Balwant Singh has tweeted that - Sad news of the demise of famous singer, composer #BappiLahiri ji has been received. May God grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family and fans to bear this grief. Oh, peace! #BappiLahiri.
