The fans of 'Main Hoon Na', for few days back got the good news that Farah Khan is all set to make the sequel of Shahrukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao and Zayed Khan starrer big hit of 2004 'Main Hoon Na'.
Farah in a talk show ‘Spices & Secrets with Zarine Khan’ said she is not helming a sequel to the movie and her words were misconstrued.
Farah told to portal, “Yes, I am working on a script but I am not making a sequel of ‘Main Hoon Na’. I did not announce anything officially on that. Many times, we chat or joke about something and that goes all over. However, nothing concrete is there. Currently the script is in a developing stage… the story is very different and there is no big hero in that.”
Farah continued, “There are many sequels made and some of them did not do well at the box office in recent time. Since’ Main Hoon Na’ is a cult film, if I want to make a sequel, the story has to be good! People have a huge expectation from that film. We might just take the character of Ram Prasad Sharma to the next level in the sequel but nothing substantial has been scripted. So I cannot say anything on that.”
