Bhopal: The issue has been discussed continuously since the Central government announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws. The opposition is terming the decision as a victory for the farmers. However, the Opposition is still saying that nothing can be said unless a decision on agricultural laws is taken in Parliament. Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel says that "agricultural laws will be brought back.'' Since his statement, the opposition is attacking the government. Congress leader Digvijay Singh has now made a statement on the issue amidst all this.

"The government has announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws, but we can't trust the government's promise right now," he says. Such a BJP government has made many promises to the people which it has not been able to fulfil till date. Unless a decision on agricultural laws is taken in Parliament, they cannot be trusted. The Congress leader also made a statement targeting the government.

He said, "You have announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws, but who will take responsibility for the death of 700 farmers. People still don't trust the government's words, some BJP leaders are talking about bringing back agricultural laws. Unless a decision is taken in Parliament and a law is enacted on MSP, the demands of the farmers will not be met''. He further praised the farmer's movement. He said, "My greetings to the sentiments and well-being of the farmers. Who followed Gandhi's path and carried out this movement completely peacefully and non-violently.''
