New Delhi: Reports of the death of a farmer involved in the ongoing agitation at Delhi's Singhu border are coming to light. Bhagel Ram suffered a heart attack during 'Bharat Bandh' on Monday. According to preliminary information, he succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Farmers are closing their way today on several borders of Delhi including Singhu, Rajokri and Ghazipur. The Delhi-Gurgaon border is under jam.

There is heavy traffic jam on Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. Traffic is crawling on NH-48. The Gurugram Traffic Control Room has said that traffic on the expressway is jammed due to barricading of Delhi Police on Delhi-Gurugram border and near Rajokri flyover. Delhi Traffic Police has announced that vehicular movement from Uttar Pradesh to Ghazipur border of the state along Delhi has been stopped. He tweeted, "Traffic from UP to Ghazipur has been stopped due to protests.''

Farmers will stop protest by 4 pm today. He had warned that people living in and around Delhi should not cross the border, otherwise there could be a problem. While a farmer has lost his life in this Bharat Bandh, the general public is also suffering due to jams, people are questioning what positive results this Bharat Bandh has given.
