Chandigarh: Chief Minister Manohar Lal of Haryana faced stiff opposition from farmers in Ambala on Tuesday. The police had to work very hard to control the angry farmers. The police followed the farmers. A peasant's turban also fell in this shock. The farmers also targeted former Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala's car in the Chief Minister's convoy.

The peasants were demanding a peaceful protest with black flags. The administration cleverly tried to remove CM Khattar from another route. After this, the matter caught on. Over one thousand farmers were present on the spot. CM Manohar Lal was scheduled to address a public meeting in Ambala on Tuesday in support of BJP's mayoral candidate Dr Vandana Sharma. Hundreds of farmers gathered at Agrasen Chowk in the city as soon as CM Khattar came to know of Ambala's arrival.

A large police force was deployed to handle the farmers. The farmers have already announced that wherever the big leaders of BJP-JJP will come, there will be a protest by showing black flags.
