New Delhi: Demonstration of farmers continues in protest against the agricultural laws brought by the central government. Even in the cold, agitating farmers are chilling on the Delhi border. Meanwhile, a farmer has died in the ongoing farmers' protest on the Indus border of Sonepat. According to media reports, the farmer has died in front of TDI City in the peasant movement. Police reached the spot and sent the dead body of the farmer to the hospital for postmortem.

According to the report, the deceased farmer is named Ajay and he is 32 years old. He is a resident of Baroda, Sonepat. Ajay was a farmer of one acre of land and used to do farming work by taking the land on contract. He was also participating in the peasant movement. He had eaten food at night and did not wake up in the morning. The family said that he died due to cold.

Farmers have been stuck for the last 12 days on different borders of Delhi on several demands including three agricultural laws. Thousands of farmers are spending the night in their tractors. Farmers have gathered at the Indus, Tikri, Ghazipur and Chilla borders.
