The Ministry of Animal Husbandry is going to give 25-25 chickens of Kadaknath to the farmers of the state for free. The department for which has sent a proposal to the government. According to the department, it may get permission from the government in the next few days. After which 25-25 chickens will be distributed free of cost to the interested beneficiaries. People are rearing Kadaknath chicken in many places in the state. One chick is available in the market for Rs 70 to 150. It is very easy to identify the Kadaknath hens. Kadaknath's cock is black. This rooster weighs from one to one and a half kilos. The meat of the chicken is also black in color.
Meat of this chicken beneficial for heart patients, one egg up to 60 rupees: The meat of Kaddanath chicken is rich in protein. Compared to other hens, it contains a large amount of protein. Amino acids are also found in plenty in this chicken. The special thing is that there is very little cholesterol in the meat of Kadaknath chicken, which is very beneficial for heart patients. The meat market of Kadaknath chicken ranges from 800 to one thousand rupees per kg. Its egg also sells for 30 to 60 rupees.
In the state, the department is preparing for the rearing of Kadaknath chickens. After getting the permission, 25-25 chickens will be given to the interested beneficiaries.
