Ajmer: A tragic incident occurred early Saturday morning in Rajasthan's Ajmer district when a school bus collided with another bus, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including a female student. The collision, which took place under the jurisdiction of the Rupangarh police station, also left 15 others injured.

A senior police officer reported that two passengers lost their lives immediately after the collision, and 15 individuals sustained injuries. "Among the injured, two victims are in critical condition and are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Ajmer," the officer added.

The accident transpired on the Amarpura-Karkedi road around 7:30 am, attributed to dense fog. The ill-fated bus, carrying nearly 20 students from a private school in Karkedi town, had a 15-year-old girl and the bus driver among the fatalities. The wounded victims included several school children and passengers from the private bus, according to the officer.

Upon the accident, law enforcement officials swiftly arrived at the scene, transporting the bodies of the school driver and the 15-year-old girl student to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Families of the deceased have been notified about the tragedy.

In a separate incident on November 28, three individuals lost their lives, and eight others sustained injuries in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district when an auto collided with a truck at Ballia Chowk on the Fakuli Overbridge. All the victims, both deceased and injured, hailed from Sitamarhi district.
