Damoh: A shocking incident has come to the fore from the Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, here online game again took the life of a student. The incident is of MPM Nagar in Damoh district. Here 17-year-old student Vikas Singh Lodhi committed suicide by hanging himself due to his addiction to the Free Fire game. It is being said that father Virendra Singh had gifted a smartphone to his son on Diwali for studies, but he got addicted to online games. When the father saw him playing the game at 7 in the morning, he snatched the mobile and after a few minutes, he committed suicide by hanging himself. 

Virendra Singh Lodhi, a resident of Tauri village of Tejgarh, lives in a rented house with his son Vikas Singh Lodhi, daughter Dipasha Lodhi and wife Yashoda Singh in SPM Nagar, Damoh for the education of children. In the morning Virendra had gone to pick up his daughter Dipasha from coaching. On returning from coaching, sister Dipasha knocked on the door of her brother's room, but the door did not open for 15 minutes, on which the family members suspected and peeped inside the room through the window and saw Vikas hanging. On seeing this, the family members lost their senses, they broke the door and took Vikas out of the trap and brought him to the district hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead.

Father Virendra Singh Lodhi is in bad condition by crying due to the death of his only son. Father told that son Vikas got up at 5 in the morning and went for running, when he returned from there, he started playing games on his mobile. On seeing this, I snatched the phone and took the mobile with me and went to take coaching to the daughter and on coming back, the son was found hanging from the noose. Due to this incident, mourning has spread in the house.
