Damoh: An elderly man in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh has been accused of rape. The old man has been accused of rape by his son's wife i.e. daughter-in-law. The victim had reached the Mahila police station late at night under the Kotwali police station area of Damoh town to register a case against her father-in-law. Police have registered a case against the culprit.

Talking about the incident, Mahila police station in charge Sushma Srivastava said that the victim has been married for three years. All went well until a year after the wedding. According to the victim, her father-in-law started harassing her a few days later and raped her one day. 

The victim had told this to the husband also, but the husband did not interfere in any way. Disturbed by this, the victim along with her parents reached the women's police station and lodged a case. In this connection, police have registered a case against the father-in-law at the Mahila police station today. The woman SHO said that the case has been registered after the complaint. Police are investigating the case.
