Mumbai: An incident is coming to the fore from Maharashtra where a speeding Ferrari car lost control on the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL) in the early hours of Friday and rammed into a railing. The car was driven by 28-year-old Samrud Khandelwal, a resident of Bandra (West) and a businessman by profession. According to Bandra Police, no one was injured in the accident. The police made an entry in the station diary regarding the accident. A video surfaced in which a Ferrari in a damaged condition can be seen being towed away.

According to the news, the incident happened at around 2.30 am when Ferrari SF 90 entered the sea link from Worli end. According to eyewitnesses, the car was about 200 to 300 meters from the Bandra end of the sea link at the time of the incident. The number of the car in which the accident happened was MH O1 DV 0777. Please inform that the police have prepared a Traffic Accident Report (TAR) of this accident. Actually, it is necessary to claim TAR insurance. This luxury car of about five crore rupees is registered in the name of a private company. A police officer said, 'The car was speeding and suddenly it went out of control and hit the railing.'

Bandra police said there was no major damage to the railing and the driver was not in an inebriated state. No challan has been issued for overspeeding. Because the traffic police said that since it was an accident, the local police of the area should take action. It is worth noting that on October 5, there was a major accident on this sea link in which 5 persons employed by the sea link contractor lost their lives.
