A case of intense furore has surfaced on social media between Union Minister Babul Supriyo and a Muslim college student. In fact, on a post of Babul Supriyo, student Mustafizur Rahman had demanded the details of his education from Supriyo. Rahman claims that Supriyo threatened to send him back to his country.
In his statement, Rahman said on Friday that Supriyo should publicly apologize to him unconditionally in this matter. Reversing this, Supriyo said, people like Rahman commit crimes again and again and they do not need to apologize to such fools. Supriyo also clarified that his remarks were not about the religion of the student.
For your information, let us tell you that Supriyo shared this post on Facebook on 26 December, condemning the support of CAA (Revised Citizenship Act) and tearing of the citizenship law by a student of Jadavpur University. The very next day, Rahman questioned the degree of Supriyo and BJP state president Dilip Ghosh.
