The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is taking strict steps by marking the hotspot area. So that the coronavirus infection can be tightened in some way. Under this, 10 more hotspots have been identified in Uttar Pradesh during the last 24 hours. Together, the total number of hotspot areas in the state has now increased to 279.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to sanitize every house in the hotspot area and monitor doorstep delivery seriously. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that in the first phase, 179 hotspot areas were identified under different police stations of 15 districts, which included 1.81 lakh houses and 11 lakh people. So far 93 hotspots have been identified in 25 districts under the second phase, which has more than 12.88 lakh people. In the third phase also, seven hotspot areas have been identified in about five districts, which have about 20 thousand people. In hotspot areas, 2700 people are doing door step delivery with four thousand handcart and motorized vehicles.

A statewide lockdown is causing chaos by gathering crowds at government ration shops. There are also a lot of complaints of ignoring physical distance instructions. In view of about 1500 such complaints in two days at number 112, police will now take strict action to ensure compliance of physical distance between people at ration shops. ADG 112 Aseem Arun has issued instructions regarding this. The ADG said that ASP 112 Operation Harendra Yadav has been entrusted with the responsibility of taking prompt action on calls related to non-adherence of physical distance to ration shops.
