The World Hockey Apex Sports Association said in a statement, "Based on the latest developments in the Kovid-19 outbreak and on the basis of feedback from the concerned public authorities worldwide, the FIH with the support of all the participating National Federation to suspend the FIH Hockey Pro League Decided to extend the deadline to 17 May.'

The Indian men's team was scheduled to play two matches against Germany on 25 and 26 April, followed by London against Great Britain on 2 and 3 May. After this, India has to host New Zealand on 23 and 24 May and then it will have to go to Argentina on 5 and 6 June. India's final match in the FIH Pro League will be against Spain, which will play them in Valencia on 13 and 14 June. New Zealand and Australia have already decided not to tour Europe for their upcoming matches.
