Mumbai: The kashmir files have begun in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, 92 BJP MLAs signed and wrote a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray demanding that the film be made tax-free. The film has already been made tax-free in states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana.  

In maharashtra, an NCP leader has brought a film based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in front of it. He has demanded that the film be made tax-free . That means your 'The Kashmiri Files' has started our Battle for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (BJP vs NCP).

Prime Minister Modi himself gave a call on tuesday to see The Kashmir Files on behalf of the BJP. "The pain of Kashmiri Pandits was not allowed to come out for 32 years. Truth must come out in every form. If someone thinks the truth is, not something else, make another film. Who has stopped it?' On the other hand, Babasaheb Patil, state president of the department of cinema and culture on behalf of the NCP, said, "The film 'Pavanakhind' which shows the glorious history of Maharashtra should be made tax-free. The film is currently running in theatres and another film 'Sarsenapati Hambirrao Mohite' is also coming up, it should also be announced to be tax-free.
