On 95th Birth Anniversary of Satyajit Ray's, bollywood directors like Shoojit Sircar and Madhur Bhandarkar have paid their respect to the eccentric filmmaker who had immense contribution to film industry.

Satyajit Ray hounered with the Bharat Ratna in 1992. He was awarded with many other awards during his career in film industry.

Bhandarkar posted, "Master filmmaker and one of the most influential directors in world cinema, Satyajit Ray, was born on May 2, 1921."
