The Andaz Apna Apna director was admitted to Nanavati Hospital on Wednesday, following a cardiac-related complaint. Bollywood director Rajkumar Santoshi was admitted in Nanavati hospital on Wednesday evening. Speaking to reliable media, the filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi said that he has been admitted for a routine check-up and his conditions is now stable. While the hospital authorities confirmed his admission, they declined to comment further citing confidentiality request by the family.

Filmmaker of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, Rajkumar Santoshi’s condition is now stable after doctors performed angioplasty on him, sources said on Wednesday. His film ‘Pukar’ won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. He also bagged the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for The Legend of Bhagat Singh. His film Pukar won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. On a related note, Santoshi is well known for helming films like Ghayal (1990), Damini (1993), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Ghatak (1996), Pukar (2000), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013) among many others. On the work front, Rajkumar Santoshi is currently helming a film based on the Battle of Saragarhi with Randeep Hooda in the lead.
