People in Telugu cinema may be shocked by this news. Members of the Telugu Producers Guild on July 26 announced that films will not be shot from August 1, until the problems are resolved. For the past few weeks, producers of the Telugu industry have been discussing the poor performance of the films. This decision has been taken to re-structure the industry.  

Important things related to Telugu films such as the budget of the film, OTT and the release of the films in the theatres will also be discussed. The Producers Guild has issued a statement announcing the suspension of the shooting of all films from August 1, 2022. In the statement, he discussed about the increasing budget of films after Corona and the low earnings from the theatre.  

The press note said – In view of the changing revenue scenario post the pandemic, it has become important for the producers to discuss all the issues that we as filmmakers are facing. It is our responsibility to improve our ecosystem and ensure that we are releasing our films in a healthy environment. In this regard, all the producer members of the guild have decided to ban shooting from August 1, 2022, so that we can sit down and find a solution. This conversation is going on between the producers of the Telugu film industry for the last 10 days regarding the current situation. Due to this many individuals have expressed their concern about the release of films on OTT.
