The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust previously released photos of the ongoing construction at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. The temple's construction is progressing steadily under the Trust's supervision, with pictures showcasing intricate carvings inside the temple. Champat Rai mentioned earlier that the idol of Lord Ram is 90 percent complete. He explained that a 4'3" idol depicting a five-year-old child form of Lord Ram is being constructed at three locations in Ayodhya. These idols are almost ready, with finishing work expected to take about a week.
The idol will be installed in the 'Grabhgriha' on the ground floor, which is nearing completion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2023. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Lakshmi Kant Dixit will perform the main rituals at the consecration ceremony. Ayodhya is preparing for the influx of devotees with the construction of several tent cities to accommodate thousands of expected visitors.
The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust has announced arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are enhancing security measures and making logistical arrangements for the anticipated surge in visitors around the January 22 ceremony.
