New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a press conference today for the third time on the economic package announced by the central government. At 4 pm, the Finance Minister will give information about the third instalment of the economic package. Earlier on Thursday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave information about the second instalment of the relief package of Rs 20 lakh crore in the Corona crisis. The package included announcements made for farmers, migrant labourers, street vendors, small traders and middle classes.

Nirmala Sitharaman announced help of 3500 crores for migrant labourers. He said that for the next 2 months, every worker will get 5 kg of wheat or rice. The ration will also be given to people without a ration card. He said that now the people running shops on the track in the country will be able to take a loan of Rs. 10,000. This will benefit 50 lakh street vendors of the country. Middle Income Group, whose annual income is between 6 lakh to 18 lakh rupees. For them, the benefit of the credit link subsidy scheme for affordable housing is being extended till March 2021. Earlier this plan was ending in March 2020.

Nirmala Sitharaman said that NABARD will finance an emergency fund of Rs. 30 thousand crores for the farmers. This amount will be given as an immediate loan to the farmers. Along with this, a loan of 2 lakh crore rupees will be given to 2.5 crore farmers of the country through Kisan Credit Card. Farmers who do not yet have a Kisan Credit Card. They will also be able to take advantage of this by making cards.
