New Delhi: There is good news for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli even before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In fact, RCB-linked New Zealand's 21-year-old batsman Finn Allen is in tremendous form. Finn Allen, who stormed his bat in domestic cricket, has also been on fire in the T20 series against Bangladesh.
In the match played on Thursday, he had scored a half-century to take New Zealand to 141 runs in 10 overs. Allen's performance will serve as a biography for RCB's team trying to win their first IPL title. The match was suspended for 10-10 overs due to rain. New Zealand was 141 for 4 in the innings. Finn Allen scored the most 71 runs and that too off only 29 balls.
Amazingly, he scored 58 off just 13 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. Allen was bowled out by Taskin Ahmed and caught by substitute player Mehdi Hasan. Apart from Allen, Martin Gaptil scored 44 off only 14 balls. He put up 5 sixes and a four in this unabashed innings.
