Bilaspur: A six-month-old girl and her mother were killed in a house fire in Kota police station area on Sunday. Fire brigade arrived at the spot. However, by then, all the stuff had been burned down. During the accident, the mother and daughter were alone in the house, while the woman's husband had been out of work. The cause of the fire in the house is not yet known.

As per the information received, Mungra Nomad was sleeping with her six-month-old daughter, Divya Nomad, in the afternoon at the Raw house at Khairjati village in Kota area. In the meantime, when smoke billowed from the house, people nearby rushed to the spot, but by then the fire had taken virile. People attempted to extinguish the fire, but could not succeed. In the meantime, someone gave a notice to the fire brigade.
