On Diwali night, the incident took place in several places in Bihar. In this incident, property worth crores of businessmen was burnt. The first incident of fire is in Purnia where a fierce fire broke out in a fireworks warehouse in Gulabbagh. The incident is near Sanauli Chowk located in Gulabbagh of Sadar police station. In connection with the incident, local businessman Surendra Vinayaka said that a huge fire in the warehouse of Pat businessman Sushil Pugalia from Gulabag with fire crackers caused huge loss.

As soon as it came to know that in this incident more than one crore property got destroyed. The fire brigade reached the spot and the fire was controlled. People told that there is a fireworks warehouse in the market. Even after this, there is no system of security here and there is always a fear of large incidents of fire like this at the scene of Diwali.

According to the information received, the second incident is from Munger where millions of goods have been damaged due to the fire in the prestigious clothing shop near Deen Dayal Chowk located in the main market of the city. The store's proprietor Sanjay Chamariya was so terrible that the 3-storey building was completely engulfed in flames. People noticed the fire brigade coming out of the building. On receiving information about the fire, several vehicles of the local district police administration and fire brigade rushed to the spot and could control the fire. The flames were so strong that many shops around it were also partially engulfed, which the townspeople got together to control the fire. After about two to 3 hours of effort, the fire department kept the fire under control.
