First corona positive case reported in JNU, university issued circular immediately

New Delhi: The first case of coronavirus infection has come to light at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi. A university pharmacist has been found corona infected after investigation. After being found corona positive, the JNU administration has asked all the people who came in contact with the pharmacist to be vigilant and get a test done immediately if there is any problem.

The JNU pharmacist underwent a test of corona. On 6 June, Delhi government officials informed the pharmacist and the university that the Corona investigation report has been found positive. After being found positive the corona test report of the pharmacist, he is kept in isolation inside his house. He lives in a government house on the JNU campus. The JNU administration has issued a circular immediately after the pharmacists at JNU are found to be corona infected. Dean Sudhir Pratap Singh has issued a circular stating that, "If anyone in the JNU feels symptoms of the corona, then they should immediately contact the clinic or hospital and get them examined."

JNU Vice-Chancellor M. Jagdish Kumar has said that the university will be opened only when the situation becomes normal. JNU management is fully prepared for this. He told that in view of academic education in JNU, online classes are going on, more than 100 webinars are happening daily. Most of the students are taking part in online activity.
