Abu Dhabi is all set to host its first-ever Early Childhood Development Fair, a collaborative effort between the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) and key partners. The event is scheduled to commence this Thursday at Umm Al Emarat Park, running from 10 am to 10 pm over the course of three days.

This groundbreaking fair promises an array of engaging and innovative activities tailored for children and families. Attendees can look forward to interactive events, extracurricular activities, hands-on scientific and technical workshops, and a range of delightful experiences.

The primary goal of this fair is to equip parents and caregivers with essential tools, skills, and resources aimed at fostering children's development. Through a diverse array of workshops, sessions, and interactive activities, the event aims to create a stimulating educational environment.

Beyond its focus on child development, the fair aims to position Abu Dhabi as a leading city for investments in early childhood development and out-of-school services and activities.

Thamer Rashid Al Qasimi, the Executive Director of the Special Projects and Partnerships Sector at ECA, emphasized the event's purpose, stating, "This event is a testament to our commitment to empowering our partners in supporting holistic child development. It aims to redefine our approach to out-of-school activities while equipping caregivers with the necessary tools and knowledge crucial for children's growth."

As a community-oriented initiative, the event offers a plethora of activities, including specially curated performances for children with unique needs and an extensive selection of 43 workshops, such as Arabic calligraphy, drawing, sensory activities, music, science, and other educational workshops.

Moreover, the fair will feature ten interactive sessions led by experts covering topics spanning health, nutrition, child safety, early childcare and education, family support, and more, catering to the interests of parents, caregivers, and children alike.
