Gorakhpur: The country's first conservation center for 'king culture' will be made in the village of Maharajganj city of Uttar Pradesh. After permission from the government, five acres of land has been reserved in the village. 83 lakh rupees have also been approved for this. 9 species of vultures are found in India. In this, King Vulture is also called King of Vultures. Its neck is red. It is believed that vultures of other species reach dead cattle only after the removal of King Vulture. There are four more vulture conservation centers in India.
Vultures are considered a special link to the eco system. It keeps the environment clean by eating dead animals. This protects against many types of epidemics. But due to various reasons, the number of vultures is decreasing rapidly in recent years. The DFO said in its statement that according to a figure, there were about 40 million vultures in the country 40 years ago. Now its number has reduced to less than four lakhs. For this reason, the Uttar Pradesh government is paying special attention to its protection. With the establishment of centers in Bharwasi, its number will increase rapidly. To increase the number of vultures, preparations are already underway to open the Jatayu Fertility Center here. The establishment of King Vulture Conservation Center will help in saving the extinct species of vultures.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus outbreak in Agra did not stop. On Sunday, 29 new corona patients were found. The figure of total infected patients has reached 1870.
