Ayodhya: The first meeting of the trust set up to build the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is going to be held today. The proposed meeting in Delhi will include all members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust along with Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International General Secretary Champat Rai. Two IAS officers from Uttar Pradesh have also been included in the meeting. Both officers have been called to Delhi.

Additional Chief Secretary of UP Government Home Avnish Awasthi and District Magistrate of Ayodhya Anuj Kumar Jha have been included in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das of Chhoti Cantonment and Champat Rai of Vishwa Hindu Parishad will also be given a place in the trust. A formal announcement will be made after the meeting at 5 pm. It was only after the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi became a pilgrimage area that there was a demand to give Mahant Nritya Gopal Das a place in the trust.

The first meeting of the trust will be held at the residence of Greater Kailash, the lawyer of Ramlala. All the members of the trust have reached Delhi for the meeting. In the meeting, there will be a discussion among the members on the date of construction of Ram temple. The members of the trust will also discuss among themselves on what will be the way of construction of the temple. Two new members will be selected and there will be a brainstorm on how to collect donations for the temple construction.
