First ODI between India and West Indies abandoned due to rain

The five-match series of the first ODI between India and West Indies yesterday at the Queen's Park Oval was abandoned after rains started pouring during the Indian innings.

Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane sharing a 132-run opening partnership to help India reach 199-3 before rains interrupted play. Rahane got out after making 67 runs.

The two teams will next lock horns on June 25 at the same venue.
