The first-look poster for director Abrid Shine's film 'Mahaveeryar,' starring Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali, has been released. The theme of 'Mahaveeryar,' adapted from a storey by renowned author M. Mukundan, centres around fantasy, time travel, law books, and court proceedings. Nivin Pauly, under his home banner of Pauly Jr Pictures, and P S Shamnas, under the brand of Indian Movie Makers, collaborated on the film.
At a ceremony in Cochin, author M Mukundan unveiled the first poster for the film. Abrid Shine, screenwriter and director, Asif Ali, Shanvi Srivastava, and P S Shamnas, co-producer, were among those in present. After the commercially and critically popular flicks '1983' and 'Action Hero Biju,' Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine are collaborating for the third time on 'Mahaveeryar.'

Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali reunite for the first time in over a decade in this film. The film, which has a massive budget, was shot over a long period of time in Rajasthan and Kerala, despite the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic. The film also stars Lal, Lalu Alex, Siddique, Shanvi Srivastava, Vijay Menon, Major Ravi, Mallika Sukumaran, Krishna Prasad, and Kalabhavan Prajod, and is directed by Abrid Shine. The film's cinematographer is Chandru Selvaraj, with Ishaan Chhabra's soundtrack and Manoj's editing.
