Neil Parrott is leading in the November race for the 6th Congressional District seat of Maryland. He was winning the nomination of his respective party, according to the calculation of informal preliminary election issued after 11 pm on Tuesday.

In the first Facebook post on Tuesday night, Parrott thanked the volunteers and voters for their support. He also said that "we can win this match. This district comes in Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties as well as parts of Montgomery and Frederian counties."
