Lucknow: Air services from Gorakhpur to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh have started from today. CM Yogi Adityanath has tweeted in this regard. CM Yogi Adityanath said that "today a new flight has started from Gorakhpur, the land of Baba Gorakhnath, to Varanasi, the land of Baba Vishwanath. PM Narendra Modi's constituency Varanasi has now been connected to CM Yogi Adityanath's constituency through flight. Now people will be able to travel easily on this route. A large number of devotees reach Varanasi from Gorakhpur, but due to the lack of flights so far, a lot of their time was wasted in travelling. This morning, CM Yogi launched SpiceJet's Gorakhpur-Varanasi flight through video conferencing. SpiceJet flight SG 2949 took off from Varanasi at 8:52 pm for Gorakhpur carrying 20 passengers.

CM Yogi tweeted after the launch of this service. He congratulated Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. CM Yogi said that he heartily thanked the Union Civil Aviation Minister for launching this important service.
