Seoul: Because the two countries recently signed a travel bubble agreement, Asiana Airlines Inc., South Korea's second-largest airline, announced on Monday that it will increase the number of flights to Singapore starting this month. According to reports, Asiana has been operating three flights a week on the Singapore route, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and passengers are required to undergo a two-week mandatory quarantine in both countries.

According to the agreement, Asiana will add one flight on Saturdays beginning November 15 and another on Sundays beginning December 1 to meet increased outbound travel demand as a result of the nationwide vaccination campaign, according to a statement.

Those who have had two weeks since their second round of vaccinations and submit negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results will be exempt from the mandatory self-isolation starting November 15, according to the statement. The quarantine-free vaccinated travel lane (VTL) will be available for flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, but not on Saturdays, according to the airline. The company spokesman said.
