Islamabad: Nature is wreaking havoc in Pakistan these days. Floods have caused an outcry in the neighbouring Islamic country. Water destruction is visible all around. 1,350 people have been killed in this sky havoc. About one-third of Pakistan has been submerged. Millions of people have become homeless. Meanwhile, the lives of those children who have been born in this crisis have also come into trouble.

According to the report, while some mothers are worried about their newborn children amid the pain of homelessness due to rain, and floods, people from families whose women are pregnant are also worried. The World Health Organization (WHO) also says that the health system in Pakistan's Sindh province has completely collapsed. The health of newborn children is in danger amid floods, while concerns about the health of pregnant women are also increasing.

According to a media report, a woman resident of Khairpur Nathan Shah in Sindh has told that it was raining heavily on August 14, the same day the daughter was born. On one hand, there was an atmosphere of happiness, on the other hand, there was concern about saving lives. The house was destroyed by the flood. Where would you stay now, these thoughts were being eaten. With great struggle, sheets and some furniture were packed and saved lives by building a temporary camp. This suffering is not just of one woman, but thousands of mothers in Pakistan are worried about their newborns.

According to the report, WHO says that women and children have been badly affected by the devastating floods of Pakistan. WHO representative in Pakistan Dr Palita Gunaratna Mahipal has informed that the health services of the country have collapsed due to floods. About 10 per cent of health institutions have been destroyed. But, the biggest concern is the 12 lakh pregnant women who are living in temporary camps built due to floods these days.
