The entire world is already in crisis due to the Coronavirus and meanwhile, the recent floods in Japan have caused great devastation. The country's Disaster Management Agency has made it clear in its statement that about 58 people have died due to floods and said that at least more than a dozen people are still missing. Due to heavy rains, the floodwater of cities of South Japan entered the streets. The soldiers used the boat to save the people and it has caused a huge amount of damage.
It is raining in the southern region of Japan, Kishu, since the night of July 3, due to continuous rains, there was flooding. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency said that on Tuesday, July 7, 49 people were confirmed dead. All of them were from the Kumamoto area on the banks of the river. 58 people have died in several days of the flood. As of Wednesday morning, there was a massive flood in parts of Nagano and Gifu in central Japan. There is no control over this flood yet.
Meanwhile, footage surfaced showing water flowing down the embankment in the Handa River, destroying a national highway along the river. In another central Japanese city of Gero, the river water reached just below the bridge above. In a mountain town of Takayama, several houses were hit by a giant tree, with uprooted trees and other debris scattered around it. It is not immediately known what happened to their residents. There is no confirmation of this yet but the investigation is going on continuously.
