Citizens who have created Aadhaar cards receive many online conveniences. The Aadhaar card issuing body allows Aadhaar holders to change their addresses through the UIDAI Self Service Portal and also to view the request for updates. If your address has changed and you want to update it on your Aadhaar card, today we're telling you a few simple steps that you can easily update your Aadhaar card online. UIDAI has given four steps on the Self Service Portal. that lets you make changes to your address.

1.Login from Aadhaar.2-Address Update Request.3- Upload Document.4- Select the BPO Service Provider and submit a request. Anyone can visit UIDAI's Self Service Portal and update the address through the registered mobile number. The Aadhaar card must have a registered mobile number to update the address as the login password will appear on the same mobile number. The copy must be uploaded. Bank statement, passbook, post office account or statement, ration card, Voter ID, driving license, government photo ID card, marriage certificate issued by the government (on which the address is written) can be given as address proof.

For your information, you can pay bills for electricity, water, landline telephones, and gas connection bills up to three months old. You can also provide property tax receipts and credit card statements on UIDAI's website to change the address. UIDAI will verify the information you submitted before the Aadhaar card is updated. To check the Aadhaar status, you need to click on the 'Check Aadhaar Update Status' link on UIDAI's website. You'll be redirected to another page as you click on this link. Here you need to fill in other details, such as the Enrolment ID, provided at the Enrolment or Update Center.
