Let's know today how you can make traditional pea cheese pulao. For this, all you have to do is-

Ingredients: Basmati rice - 1 cup
Green peas - 200 grams
Paneer slices - 100 grams
Crushed Ginger - 1/2
Garlic - 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
Cloves - 2-3
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon - ½
Bay leaf - 1
Black cardamom - 1
Chili Powder - half a spoon black
Garam Masala - ½ teaspoon
Coriander - chopped coriander
Ghee - 1 ½ tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp

Method: Wash rice thoroughly and soak for 1 hour. Next, remove the excess water. Heat the ghee and oil in a pan on medium heat. Now add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick and black cardamom, freshly crushed ginger garlic, paneer cubes and fry the paneer till it becomes golden, now add it to the peas and fry it for a few seconds. Let the rice and peas cook on medium heat for a minute. Now add 2 cups of water and salt, mix well and let it boil. When the water starts boiling keep the flame low and cover it with the lid and cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes open the lid and fry after adding garam masala, black pepper powder, lemon juice. Cover the lid again and cook until the rice becomes soft. When the rice becomes soft, cover the lid again, turn off the heat and let it remain for 10 minutes. The Matar Paneer Pulao is ready to serve in the pan.
