The chairman of Football Delhi, Shaji Prabhakaran has said, "The Capital Cup is an attempt to revive the Ambedkar Stadium and the city's football heritage. Through the Capital Cup we want to promote local football and provide football lovers with a tournament "The best clubs and players will be seen playing."

On the other hand, if we talk about Corona infected data, according to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours a record 7,466 new cases have been reported and 175 people have died. After this the total number of corona positive cases across the country has increased to 1,65,799, of which 89,987 are active cases, 71,106 people have been cured or discharged from hospital and 4,706 people have died so far.
