Mumbai: For the first time in the history of the Maharashtra Congress, two transgenders have been entrusted with important responsibilities. They are Salma Khan Sokerekar and Parvati Jogi, who have been made secretaries of the State Congress. After a long gap of six months after Nana Patole, who was the speaker of the assembly, was handed over the Bagdaur of the State Congress, the jumbo executive of the Maharashtra Congress has been declared in which former CM Prithviraj Chavan has been appointed as the chairman of the disciplinary committee.
