Former CPI MLA Sunnam Rajaya dies after being infected by Corona

Coronavirus has really not spared anyone. From common people to celebrities and public representatives, everyone is infected by this tragic virus. Already several MLAs have been affected by the corona in the previous times, some leading to death. That's the reason many of them are staying in-home quarantines. Recently, CPM MLA Sunnam Rajaya, who was hit by the corona epidemic, has passed away. He was 58 years old. A few days ago, he was infected with the coronavirus and was shifted from Bhadrachalam in Telangana to COVID Hospital in Vijayawada. The situation worsened leading to his death.

Former CM Siddaramaiah gets corona infected

Talking about his life journey, he has been elected to the Assembly three times from Bhadrachalam constituency in the joint state. He was elected MLA from Bhadrachalam three times in 1999, 2004 and 2014 on behalf of the CPM. After the partition of the state, Ramachodavaram contested from the Assembly constituency in AP and lost. Etapaka in Telangana and some villages in the Vara Ramachandrapuram zone have been merged into the AP. Sunnam Rajya Swagram Sunnamwari Goodem is one of them.

Corona Cases effectively get reduced in Telangana

He fell ill two weeks ago. He underwent corona tests and initially received a negative report. It is known that he was being treated for a common fever and he was living in his hometown. Two days ago, another medical examination was conducted and he turned out to be corona positive. So he went into the home quarantine. However,  he was rushed to Covid Hospital in Vijayawada. He breathed his last while receiving treatment.
