Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir slams Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for his latest dharna announcement

New Delhi: Former international cricketer Gautam Gambhir slam Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for announcing a fresh dharna in the New Delh.  Kejriwal, the chief of the Aam Aadmi Party, on Saturday announced that he will go on an indefinite hunger strike starting March 1 to demand full statehood for Delhi.

Reacting to the CM’s announcement, Gambhir said that while there are a thousand problems in the national capital, dharna was the solution which the CM could think of. Gambhir, who takes a stand on a lot of national and social issues. He Twitted, “More than 2 crore people in Delhi...thousand problems.. and what a solution... Another CM @ArvindKejriwal special DHARNAA.. Shame ! (sic).”

The comment of former cricketer come after Kejriwal has announced dharna. He said,  “I am going to sit on an indefinite fast from March 1 for full statehood of Delhi. The entire Delhi now needs to launch a movement for the full statehood,” the Chief Minister said. “From March 1, we will launch the movement to make Delhi a full state and we will not end it till Delhi gets full statehood,”
