Former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Laxman Sangappa Savadi, is going to join Congress. He had recently parted ways with the BJP. According to the information, Laxman Sangappa is going to leave for Bangalore from Belgaum. A flight has been booked for them. This booking has been done in the name of Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar. After reaching Bengaluru, he will be able to go with either Congress or JDS. However, the possibility has also been expressed that he can only hold the hand of the Congress.

Earlier, Laxman Savadi had resigned as a Legislative Council member and primary member of the BJP on April 12 after not getting a ticket from the Athani constituency. He said that I had made my decision. I am not one to go around with a begging bowl. I am a self-respecting politician. I am not working under anyone's influence.

Reports say that in reaction to this, senior BJP leader and former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa said that we had given him everything. I don't know why he is sad. I don't know why he made such a decision. I tried my best to contact him but could not reach him.
