Palghar: A painful incident is coming out of Palghar, in Maharashtra, where a painful accident took place in a rally taken out on the eve of the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Two people died due to electrocution during the rally. While five people were seriously scorched. All of them have been admitted to the hospital. The rally was taken out on Thursday evening from Manvelpada in Virar to the Kargil area in Palghar. The accident happened as people were returning home soon after the rally was over. On receiving the news, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

According to the news received, Baba Saheb's birth anniversary is being celebrated across the country on Friday. On the other hand, a rally was organised in Palghar, Maharashtra, on Thursday, on the eve of the birth anniversary. People were present in huge numbers at the rally. The rally safely reached its destination at 10.30 p.m. and concluded. Thereafter, as people started coming back, some of them came into contact with live power lines.

Because of this, two people died on the spot. They have been identified as Sumit Shivaji Sut (28), and Rupesh Sharad Surve (20). It is said that Rahul Jagtap, Umesh Kanojia, Asmit Kamble, Satyanarayan Pandit, and Rohit Gaikwad, who went to save them after they were electrocuted, also got electrocuted and got badly burned. In a hurry, all of them were taken to the municipal hospital in Vasai Virar. Where doctors declared Sumit and Rupesh dead. At the same time, all five scorched youths have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. On receiving the news, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
