Dharamshala: Senior Congress leader Sujan Singh Pathania has said goodbye to the world. He died late Thursday last night. Sujan Singh was 78 years old and currently was a Congress MLA from Fatehpur Assembly constituency in Himachal Pradesh. Not only this, but he was also considered a good catch in Kangra. He has also been a minister in the state government and according to reports, he was ill for a long time. Now a wave of mourning is seen in the state unit of Congress on his death today. Himachal Chief Minister CM Jairam Thakur has mourned the death of MLA Sujan Singh Pathania.

 

He also tweeted, writing 'The sad news was received of the death of Shri Sujan Singh Pathania Ji, MLA and former minister of Fatehpur Assembly constituency. Pathania Ji has always served people with dedication, which is inspiring. God give the departed soul a place in its shrines and provide support to the bereaved family.'

 

Simultaneously, the Himachal Congress expressed grief over Sujan Singh's death by tweeting, "Himachal Congress senior leader MLA and former minister Sujan Singh Pathania on behalf of Himachal Congress family to pay a heartfelt tribute to God the departed soul and Give the bereaved family the power to bear this unbearable grief "Om Shanti" Sujan Singh was born on 22 September 1943 in Lahore, Pakistan. Sujan Singh was close to former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. He was given the post of minister twice in the Virbhadra-led government in the state. Not only this but the public had elected him seven times and sent him to Himachal Pradesh Assembly.
