The Men in Blue still have the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka ahead of them before they march their way down to South Africa. A test, or rather claimed as 'India's true test' awaits Virat Kohli's army under unfavourable Proteas condition. While questions have risen whether India do have a team to tackle South African pace, former cricketer Graeme Smith reckons, India's top three will make the difference

"This top three will go to South Africa as better players. Since the last tour, they have all grown in stature. Virat had a decent tour. He has got even better. He has gone to the next level. Rohit, I think, is a better player than what he was when he came to South Africa. Shikhar has improved," said Smith during the discussion of the India-Sri Lanka series. A tossed up delivery and Dinesh Karthik lofted it over the covers as India carved their name on eternity as the team to lose none of the bilateral series in 2017 on Sunday.

A dominant performance yet again from the home team who made Sri Lanka's 215 look paltry despite getting the stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma out for just seven runs in Vishakhapatnam in the third ODI match between the two Asian countries. Opener Shikhar Dhawan combined with Shreyas Iyer to pulverise the Islanders with the youngster notching up his second successive half-century in ODIs. After Iyer's dismissal, Dhawan carried on the momentum to get his century as India breached the target with still 17.5 overs to go.
