The surge in coronavirus infections led to a complete lockdown in Indore. A major decision has now been taken to provide free home delivery of milk and dairy products. This service will be in run by Indore Cooperative Milk so that the general public do not face any problem of getting everyday essential food services.


Moti Singh Patel, Cooperative Milk Union President said due to the Covid-19 infection has decided to provide milk and milk products. The availability of products will be through free home delivery to the consumers of the city. For consumers who will send the demand for 'Sanchi' milk and milk products worth more than Rs 200 to the Dairy Federation, the service will be provided free of cost to them. The one who want to order milk and milk products by dialing on the mobile number 99934-36828 of Indore Cooperative Milk Union. The availability of products will be from 11 a.m to 4 p.m during office hours. Milk and milk products will be sent through home delivery by the Milk Union on the next day after receiving the order.


With this Madhya Pradesh on Monday reported 12,686 COVID-19 cases, taking its tally to over five lakh. The state's caseload stands at 5,11,990, including 5,221 deaths, while 4,14,235 people have been discharged so far, leaving it with 92,534 active cases.
