Srinagar: China and Turkey will not attend the tourism working group meeting to be held in Jammu and Kashmir's capital Srinagar next week. Apart from these, there are some other countries, whose participation in this meeting will be negligible. Pakistan has been opposing this meeting to be held in Srinagar since the beginning. Let us tell you that this meeting is being considered as one of the biggest international events to be held in Kashmir after the removal of Article 370 in August 2019.

According to media reports, it is believed that these two countries have avoided the meeting because of their best friend Pakistan. Suspicion still persists even on the participation of Indonesia in the meeting. This meeting is going to be held in Srinagar between 22-24 May. The meeting has been held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conventional Center on the banks of Dal Lake. In view of the meeting, strict security arrangements have been made in entire Kashmir. India has already outrightly rejected Pakistan's objections regarding the G-20 meetings. Pakistan says that organizing this meeting in India Srinagar is a violation of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and international law.

India had given a befitting reply to Pakistan and said that it is not that this meeting is being organized only in Srinagar. Before the summit, such events are being organized in all the states and union territories of the country. Let us tell you that the neighboring country China also abstained from the G-20 meeting held in Arunachal Pradesh in March.
