New Delhi: The music streaming platform 'Gaana' has sacked Tanzila Anas. Actually, Tanzila Anas had given an insensitive tweet on Friday, 12 February 2021 after the brutal killing of Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma, which caused quite a ruckus. Through this, Tanzila indirectly tried to justify the murder.

Gaana has said in a statement released on social media, "We do not endorse the beliefs & views of our employees in their personal capacity. Gaana respects religious sentiments of every community in India." Earlier, a criminal complaint was filed against Tanzila in Chandigarh. Also, Gaurav Goyal, spokesperson of Chandigarh BJP, demanded the removal of Tanzila from the management of 'Gaana.'

Goyal had written a letter to Gaana CEO Prashan Agarwal, accusing his content head Tanzila of insulting Hindu deities and celebrating the murder of Rinku Sharma for collecting donations for the Ram temple. After the ruthless killing of Rinku Sharma, Tanzila Anas wrote in a tweet that, 'Bajrang Dal worker. That's enough.'
