Raipur: Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has liked an initiative of the Chhattisgarh government. Nitin Gadkari, a minister in the Modi government and known for his clarity, has publicly praised the Bhupesh Baghel government. In response, Baghel thanked Gadkari and also praised him.

Gadkari praised the Baghel government for the use of cow dung paint and said that he had started it when he was the MSME minister. Gadkari tweeted, ''I congratulate Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel ji for giving instructions to officers urging the use of natural paint made from cow dung in government departmental constructions of Chhattisgarh. His decision is commendable and welcome.''

In another tweet, Gadkari wrote, "We started this when I was the MSME minister under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The use of natural paint will not only protect the environment but will also provide a new employment opportunity to the farmers, which will benefit the farmers of the country.'' Bhupesh Baghel tweeted, "Thank you very much! Respected Nitin Gadkari ji. Only a ''Karmayogi'' can understand this Karmayog of the Government of Chhattisgarh. Not only by words, but by good intentions, the country and the state become an inspiration for others. Respect for cows and labor is way of Gandhi. We are moving forward on that.''
