New Delhi, India: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari praised the Union Budget delivered in Parliament on Tuesday, saying that it will help the country develop contemporary infrastructure.

"The budget presented by Finance Minister Mrs. @nsitharaman under the leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodi aims to develop modern infrastructure in the country, laying the groundwork for a new India and improving the lives of 130 million Indians. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, delivered the Union Budget to Parliament today. A total of Rs 20,000 crore will be raised to supplement public funds "During her speech to the Budget Session, she remarked.

According to the Finance Minister, the "Budget puts forth a vision for 'Amrit Kaal' that is both modern and inclusive. PM Gati Shakti will lead a large public investment in modern infrastructure, preparing India for a 100-year completion."
