Choreographer Ganesh Acharya was once again accused of harassment. The woman who accused is a senior background dancer. This woman has contacted the National Commission for Women. The woman was told that this incident is of 1990 when Ganesh Acharya tried to exploit her. While Acharya denied the allegations against him. Ganesh has said that efforts are being made to defame him.

The accused woman informed that in 1990 she used to go to a dance class at Sahiba Hall in Andheri West. Ganesh Acharya used to assist Kamal Masterji. According to the woman she was 18 years old at that time. She was also working as a dancer. The woman alleges that "One day Ganesh Acharya invited me to his class in Santa Cruz East on the pretext of teaching dance". According to the woman, an assistant to Ganesh took her from Khar station and took her to a room on the first floor of the hotel East and West. The woman also says that "There were no students then. Ganesh kissed my neck and cheeks on the pretext of teaching dance and then pushed me on the bed when I opposed".

Ganesh also said that "he wants to marry me. Despite my refusal, he kept turning his hand to my body. At that time I got nervous and I said that I have periods. Then he left me and said, what you spoiled my mood". On all these allegations, Ganesh Acharya said that "these stories are being made under a conspiracy. Some people are trying to tarnish my image because I took a stand against them. My stand is harming them in the interest of dancers. They can do such things against me, but I will not give up". Earlier another woman had also accused Ganesh of harassment"
